Version 2.0.11 introduces comprehensive inspection capabilities, improved user management, and site-specific enhancements for environmental monitoring

The eLandfill development team announces the release of version 2.0.11, delivering significant improvements to environmental monitoring and landfill management capabilities. This update focuses on streamlining inspection workflows, enhancing user experience, and introducing new gas flare integration.

Key New Features

Advanced Inspection System: The latest release introduces a comprehensive inspection creation system, allowing users to document and track environmental assessments more efficiently. The new inspection module includes the flexibility to add inspections without requiring photographs, providing greater adaptability for field operations. A loading indicator has been added during the inspection saving process to improve user feedback and system transparency.

Flare integration with API: A specialised flare monitoring submodule has been developed specifically for flares, complete with dashboard integration and real-time data capabilities. Users can now filter flare data by date ranges, enabling more precise analysis of emission patterns and compliance monitoring.

User Experience Enhancements

The update significantly improves user management with enhanced filtering capabilities and chronological ordering of user records by creation date. The interface has been streamlined by hiding the ‘update asset’ tab and implementing smarter redirection logic that eliminates unnecessary navigation to site lists.

Map functionality receives substantial attention in this release, with improved layer visibility for assets across all modules and enhanced asset counting displays. The development team has refined the gas page layout, making it more responsive on smaller screens while maintaining full functionality.

Technical Improvements and Bug Fixes

Version 2.0.11 addresses numerous technical issues that enhance system reliability and performance. Notable fixes include resolution of map scale bar display problems, correction of asset layer visibility issues when accessing the gas page, and proper ortho image display during create and edit operations.

The team has implemented comprehensive notification systems for both successful operations and error handling, providing users with clear feedback on their actions. Language switching functionality has been restored, and the system now properly saves group editing changes.

Security and Performance Updates

Server-side JWT validation has been strengthened to enhance system security. The development team has also conducted code optimisation by removing unused interfaces and refining the measurements page layout for improved performance and user experience.

The release includes fixes for specific site issues, including parameter selection problems in gas graphs for the Brasov location and proper display hierarchy for gas measurements relative to assets.

Enhanced Asset Management

Users will benefit from improved asset creation and editing workflows, with new status filters and the ability to delete vertices when editing lines or polygons. The system now prevents unwanted popup displays when users press the ESCAPE key during editing operations, creating a smoother editing experience.

Availability

eLandfill version 2.0.11 is now available to all users. The update represents the development team’s continued commitment to improving environmental monitoring capabilities and user experience in landfill management systems.
